Need to spice up your Christmas reading comprehension? Pair these fun summaries and simple daily crafts with your favorite Christmas read alouds. Students won’t even know they are learning, plus it doubles as a great holiday bulletin board!
Ideas for Using Christmas Reading Comprehension Crafts and Activities:
Read aloud one of your favorite Christmas books each day. Then, either during center time, independent time, bell work, or whenever it works best for you, have students write a summary about the Christmas book you read. Afterward, let students create a simple and cute Christmas craft that mirrors the read aloud and their summary. These make great bulletin boards or hallway decor during the winter months.
Who Are the Christmas Reading Comprehension Crafts and Activities For?
These reading comprehension activities are differentiated for all elementary students.
